HYGEIA Hospital was founded in 1970 by a group of Greek physicians and was the first large private hospital to operate in the country. Today it is part of Hellenic Healthcare Group, the largest private healthcare group in Greece, which also includes MITERA, METROPOLITAN HOSPITAL, METROPOLITAN GENERAL and LETO.

Hospital facilities have requirements that differ sharply from retail. They need hangers that withstand frequent cleaning, with smooth surfaces free of recesses that trap moisture, suitable for patient room wardrobes, staff changing areas, consulting rooms and waiting areas. Metal and plastic hangers with a non-slip coating cover the bulk of the demand, while wooden hangers with closed-pore lacquer are used in administration offices and VIP rooms.
